Despite the stock market's strong performance through the first half of 2024, it has been difficult for many investors.

First, the market has been led by a few stocks. If you weren't involved in those, you weren't seeing the outstanding returns.

Second, it has also been a quiet market. There has been very low volatility and mostly just a slow grind upwards around a few select stocks.

That is not much opportunity for traders.
